EPOXY GRANITE COUNTERTOPS

10 YEARS WARRANTY IS PROVIDED

Which will better serve your countertops—Granite or Epoxy? People have long loved Granite for its strength, durability, and beauty. But if you’re interested in a sleek and smooth look for your kitchen or bathroom countertop, Epoxy Granite is worth a second look.

Granite and other natural materials can crack and be damaged by exposure to temperature changes. However, epoxy surfaces are nonporous, so they do not crack, warp or split like wood, concrete, and Granite. Furthermore, the Epoxy countertop is a composite resin material that’s typically applied to the top of a nonporous surface like glass, metal, plastic, or wood. As a result, it’s sturdier than Granite and can be easier to clean. In some ways, though, Granite is the strongest option on the market with its natural strength and durability. In addition, environmentally conscious homeowners will find Epoxy Granite to be the most eco-friendly choice on the market because it’s phthalate-free, lead-free, and safe for practically any application, as well as available in green colours such as lime green terra cotta or mint.

What is more heat resistant: Epoxy vs. Granite?

In terms of heat resistance, which is a very important factor in the kitchen, Epoxy beats Granite. Granite has the potential for cracking, and the surface can be weakened over time by changes in temperature. Epoxy has been shown to hold up better to the kitchen’s heat. So when it comes to Epoxy vs. Granite countertops heat resistance, Epoxy wins again.

Granite can be damaged by extreme changes in temperature, which means that you won’t want to place a hot pan directly on the surface of your granite countertop. Epoxy can withstand up to 500 degrees F, making it safer than Granite for cooking preparation areas.

As you can see, Epoxy Countertops come out quite favourably compared to Granite Countertops in every category. So, if you’re trying to decide between these two materials, it should be a no-brainer.

The effect of granite can be created by using epoxy and mixing powders to create the desired effect! That is, you still should not give up the idea of a granite countertop if you have chosen this option for your design. Distinguishing a real stone or epoxy is quite difficult for the human eye.

Below we have given examples of the effect of Epoxy Granite .
